I am a thirty six year old, Black American male. I grew up looking towards role models like Martin Luther King, Jr., and Jesse Jackson, hoping one day to inspire people as they have inspired me. I'll probably never achieve any level of greatness in my life, but the one thing I never expected to happen within my life time, much less when I'm still so young, was that a Black man would be elected President of the United States.

Things have been odd for the last few weeks, and I'd rather not go into how or why. But I will tell you that after a month, I got my notebook back from HP in working order. I've reaffirmed my vow never to buy another HP product, and begun notebook shopping with my wife. After all of this, after all the pain that I went through to get her notebook fixed for her, we're spending a good chunk of our tax refund on getting her a new one, and I'll be taking over the HP... My wife, mother-in-law, and I (among many others) spent the last few days in Las Vegas, Nevada, for their family reunion, and we returned today. It felt great to have the time off even though we were often too tired to even think about gambling during the time we were there.

We did spend some time in the casinos, with perhaps the most memorable being at the Silverton Hotel and Casino off Blue Diamond Road. The casino itself wasn't too special, and we didn't actually gamble...

As you might have noticed, I've brought LottoOne online, and have begun to add games and data to it. With a little luck, I'll start to get a fairly large number of visitors to the site, and with it (hopefully) some advertising revenue.

In the near future, hopefully the very near future, I will be making some substantial updates to the site, and adding a lottery number generator that I call LottoOne.

LottoOne started off as a number generator on the Atari 800XL I owned way back in the early 90s, written in BASIC, and very, very simplistic. There was so much that I wanted to do with it, but had no comprehension on how to accomplish it.

Ever feel like you're being ground beneath the boot of society? I feel that way right now... I just found out that the cost of my health insurance (the vast majority of which comes out of my paycheck) for myself, wife, and child, is going up starting next month an additional $40 or so even though nothing has changed for us. Add to that the cost of our truck payment and car insurance, and I will basically be completely out of money before I even see my check.
