Big Changes!

It's been a while since I last posted, and the world has changed quite a bit in those few months. I didn't think it had been literally half a year since I posted, but it has. In that time, we have a new president (though I confess I voted for someone else), a lot more uncertainty, the Cubs won the World Series, and I now have a new job and am living in a new city and state.

Although I'm excited as hell about my new job, I'm not going to state what company it is here. The people that need to know, know. But it has led me to move to the Chicago. Although I was never particular about living here, I'm excited for the chance to start fresh all over again. That is tempered, however, by being away from most of my family and friends, but at least I'm still within a reasonable driving distance of them.

Nonetheless... it's different. My world is just as different as the one outside the scope of my control. It's interesting, exciting and scary all at once.
