Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock...

This is turning out to be quite the interesting month. This is turning out to be a very interesting month. Three things are happening or have happened this month that affect me directly, that are just beyond words really.

First up, of most importance, is that Lori and I have celebrated our second anniversary as a married couple. It was but a pair of short years that have passed since we got married, and only three since we met, but I think that they've been the happiest years of my life. I am blessed to have her by my side, and I hope that I make her as happy as she makes me!

Second, I turn 30 on Saturday. Wow. I never expected to see this birthday come around; not for the usual reasons (violence, drugs, etc.), but because I never expected the world to continue to exist after 12/31/1999. It's a fact of life that a lot of us Generation-X'ers never really believed that anything would continue to exist after that date. We just tried to enjoy life while we could, and forget about our limited lifespans... Everything afterwards has just been a bonus! :D

The final time related thing that's happening this month is the release of Neverwinter Nights. Although technically, it's available in some parts of the world and country, it mostly isn't available tonight on the United States' West Coast; where I happen to live. This is one of those times I wish I still lived in Michigan!! Oh well... it's a mere 16 hours and 10 minutes until EB opens in the morning... A mere 16 hours and 10 minutes until I abuse my redial button on my telephone...
